What exactly has changed?
A new
version of DIN 13169 has been in force since November 2021. When it came into force, the large
first aid kits were equipped with the following additional products in accordance with DIN 13169
:
As plasters are among the most frequently used materials in the first aid kit, the quantities have been adjusted as follows:
- 24 pieces of quick wound dressing 10 x 6 cm (previously: 16 pieces)
- 12 finger tip bandages 5 x 4 cm (previously: 8 pieces)
- 12 finger bandages 12 x 2 cm (previously: 8 pieces)
- 12 plaster strips 7.2 x 1.9 cm (previously: 8 pieces)
- 24 plaster strips 7.2 x 2.5 cm (previously: 16 pieces)
Also new are 8 individual packs of wet wipes for cleaning uninjured skin.
The
first aid kits should have been updated by 30 April 2022.
