ClassicLine safety shower test trolley
The ClassicLine safety shower test trolley is the ideal solution for carrying out the prescribed functional tests on safety showers quickly, safely and reliably. The mobile test trolley has a sturdy collection container with a capacity of approx. 30 litres and is mounted on four swivel castors, allowing the unit to be easily positioned under the respective safety shower. Thanks to its light weight of approx. 6 kg and the possibility of dismantling it into three compact parts, both transport and storage are particularly flexible. With an overall height of around 2.10 m, the test trolley meets current requirements and can be used for tests with a perfect fit. Two recessed grips integrated into the container facilitate handling, while the drain plug enables easy and controlled emptying - e.g. via a floor drain. Made of robust plastic with aluminium piping, the test trolley combines durability with ease of use. There is also always a risk of eye injuries in work areas where foreign bodies such as swarf, dust or dirt particles are produced. Rapid and copious rinsing dilutes the contaminants and flushes them out. Quick access to an eyewash bottle should therefore be available. After all, in the event of eye injuries, just a few seconds can decide whether vision is impaired or even lost! Caution! In the case of splinter injuries, the eye should not be rinsed but immobilised with a suitable dressing. The injured person should consult an ophthalmologist as soon as possible.

Correct signage The newly revised workplace regulation (ASR) A1.3, which contains the internationally valid safety signs of DIN EN ISO 7010, has been in force since the first quarter of 2013. Until December 2012 and the publication of DIN EN ISO 7010, the main safety signs in Germany were defined by DIN 4844-2, which now only applies as a German supplement to and in conjunction with DIN EN ISO 7010. The new version of ASR A1.3 dated 28 February 2013 replaces ASR A1.3:2007 and includes all the signs of the new DIN EN ISO 7010. The new ASR A1.3:2013 is therefore valid for all workplaces in Germany. If the employer does not apply the amended safety signs, he must carry out a documented risk assessment (§ 5 + 6 of the German Occupational Health and Safety Act) to determine whether the safety signs used can continue to be applied. It must be determined whether the markings used in accordance with the old ASR A1.3 and BGV A8 enable employees to quickly recognise hazards, requirements and prohibitions. Important: Old and new markings should never be used in parallel!
