Another ÖKOPROFIT award for WERO
The successful completion of ÖKOPROFIT 2022/2023 was accompanied by an award ceremony for the ÖKOPROFIT companies at Wiesbaden City Hall. WERO GmbH & Co KG was among the selected companies and organisations - once again. Through around 330 small and large measures, the ÖKOPROFIT members together succeeded in saving around 1.3 million euros and reducing energy, resources and CO2 emissions:
- over 1.4 million kilowatt hours of electricity
- over 3.2 million kilowatt hours of heat
- around 120,000 litres of fuel
- more than 3.5 million kilograms of CO2 emissions
WERO has been a certified ÖKOPROFIT company since 2009 and is one of over 30 members of the ÖKOPROFIT club, which has a special focus on energy efficiency and climate protection issues and pursues a common savings target.
ÖKOPROFIT is a nationally established network programme for environmental and climate protection that brings together the city and business to implement sustainability issues in a targeted manner. Together, measures are developed to optimise the environmental and climate protection performance of companies and to create a carbon footprint.
