WERO AED commissioning

In Germany, defibrillators are subject to the Medical Devices Operator Ordinance (MPBetreibV).

Section 10 of the MPBetreibV states that the operator may only operate a medical device (AED) listed in Appendix 1 if the manufacturer or an authorised person acting in agreement with the manufacturer has previously subjected the AED to a functional test at the place of operation,

has subjected the AED to a functional test at the place of operation and
the person authorised by the operator has been instructed in the proper handling, use and operation of the medical device and in the permissible connection with other medical devices, objects and accessories on the basis of the instructions for use and the enclosed safety-related information and maintenance instructions.

WERO AED commissioning services

In accordance with the MPBetreibV, we will commission your AED, carry out a functional test on site and instruct your medical device representative in the operation of the device - including documentation of all measures in the medical device book.

WERO Routine Check

In addition to the appointment of a person responsible for the device, regular checks and training as well as the creation of a medical device logbook are also prescribed. We go even further with the WERO routine AED check: our medical device consultants use a simulator to put your AED through its paces.
