Fillings for first aid kits, vehicle first aid kits & emergency first aid kits according to DIN and ÖNORM
Depending on the area of work and application as well as the number of employees, different first aid kits are required. For example, fillings are always standardised according to a DIN - subdivided according to the number of employees or the number of people on a construction site and their hazard potential. According to DGUV Regulation 1, the employer must ensure that the necessary equipment and material resources as well as the required personnel are available for first aid and rescue from danger.

Filling in accordance with DIN 13157
The Workplace Directive (ASR) stipulates what equipment must be available in terms of first aid kits and first aid materials. For example, the ASR stipulates that smaller construction sites with up to 10 people must have a first aid kit with a standardised DIN 13157 filling. This also applies to processing and manufacturing companies with up to 20 people and administrative and commercial companies with up to 50 people.
Filling in accordance with DIN 13169
For larger construction sites with 11-50 people and companies with 21-100 employees in manufacturing and processing operations and 51-300 employees in administrative and commercial operations, it is mandatory to fill first aid kits in accordance with DIN 13169. Alternatively, one first-aid kit in accordance with DIN 13169 can be replaced by 2 first-aid kits filled in accordance with DIN 13157.
As the number of employees increases, so does the number of first-aid kits required in accordance with the ASR specifications. For construction sites with 51-100 people, 2 first aid kits in accordance with DIN 13169 are required. An additional first aid kit in accordance with DIN 13169 is required for 50 additional persons on the construction site or construction site-like facilities.
Filling in accordance with DIN 13164
A standardised DIN 13164 filling is prescribed for a small vehicle first aid kit. According to the occupational health and safety regulations, a first-aid kit in accordance with DIN 13164 is also sufficient for field work.
Fillings according to DIN 14142
Refill packs or first aid kits in accordance with DIN 14142 are mandatory for fire and rescue services. Refill packs for fire and rescue services are significantly more comprehensive than the standard vehicle first aid kit. The fillings are suitable for suitcases, rucksacks and bags.
Fillings according to DIN 13155
Our recommendation for all company paramedics - a DIN 13155 kit containing materials for suction, ventilation and dressing material for wound care as well as material for diagnostics. The kit is therefore ideal for first-aid kits.
