Sports tapes or tape bandages
Joint, muscle or tendon injuries often occur in sport. Tape bandages have proven their worth in the treatment of such injuries - but also as a preventative measure. Our "WERO Tape" has been specially developed for functional bandages for blunt injuries or prevention. The fabric tapes, which can be torn lengthwise and crosswise, are extremely tensile and adhere well and are perfect for stabilising the relevant parts of the body.
Special plasters for cuts and abrasions
There are so-called wound suture strips for securely and correctly joining the edges of lacerations and cuts. They are often used when unsightly scarring is otherwise to be expected. Our Steri-Strip wound closure strips are made of synthetic silk fleece with additional woven-in reinforcing synthetic fibres. Thanks to the synthetic fabric and the use of a polyacrylate adhesive, these special plasters are hypoallergenic.
In addition to the Steri-Strip wound closure strips, we also offer the Weroplast® SprayOn, a practical spray plaster for the treatment of superficial wounds. The spray plaster is ideal for smaller cuts or abrasions, especially on hairy skin. The plaster dries very quickly and does not stick afterwards.
However, there are a few things to bear in mind when using spray plasters. It must not be used around the eyes and mucous membranes in general, as it has an irritating effect. You should also not use the spray plaster on burns and infected or deep, oozing injuries.
