Ultraviolet sunlight is responsible for tanning the skin, but can also cause diseases and negative side effects as a result:
- Sunburn
- Premature skin ageing
- Increased risk of skin cancer
Sun protection measures
- Skin protection with UV filter
- Clothing made of tightly woven textiles such as cotton or synthetic materials
- Sunglasses, awnings, roller blinds and venetian blinds
WERO sun protection
The WERO range currently includes the following products that protect against natural and artificially generated UV radiation:
The "UV protection foam Aktivin® BruzzelSchutz Mousse SPF 50", the UV protection spray Aktivin® BruzzelSchutz Spray and the "UV protection cream Aktivin® BruzzelSchutz SPF 50". The three products are waterproof and protect against UV-A, UV-B and UV-C radiation. The latter UVC rays are generated, for example, during arc welding and when working with gas burners and are extremely aggressive.
For eye protection, we recommend the use of safety spectacles with UV protective lenses, such as the Racy Top grey safety spectacles in our range. They offer a perfect fit as well as a secure and pressure-free fit.

Instructions for the use of sun cream:
- Apply UV protection cream for the first time 30 minutes before UV exposure or contact with the sun.
- Use plenty of UV protection cream!
- Pay particular attention to protecting your lips, ear rims, nose, décolleté and, if necessary, the backs of your feet.
- Reapply sun protection cream every two hours and after swimming and if you sweat a lot.
- Take the sun protection factor into account.
- Sun cream does not extend the time you spend in the sun by reapplying it several times.
