Finger joint plasters
Finger joint plasters offer optimum freedom of movement for wounds to the finger joints
Even the smallest injuries to the finger joints can be extremely uncomfortable and can quickly become infected. The tissue around the wound is constantly irritated by constant movement and strain and is slow to heal.
With specially tailored finger joint plasters, you can optimally cover injuries to the joint as well as between the fingers and protect the wound site from dirt and moisture.
What is a finger joint plaster?
Finger joint plasters, also known as knuckle plasters, are characterised by their special shape: The adhesive surface has incisions at both ends. This allows the joint plasters to be applied in such a way that the fingers' freedom of movement is not restricted. In addition, the elasticity ensures that the plaster fits correctly, even during movement.
What are finger joint plasters suitable for and what are their advantages?
Finger joint plasters are ideal for treating wounds on the knuckle or joint. In contrast to conventional wound plasters, this special plaster is adapted to the anatomy of the finger. This means that the finger does not lose its mobility and work can continue despite the injury.
What properties do finger joint plasters have?
What all models have in common is that they guarantee the mobility of the finger. The different versions also have different properties: Waterproof, extra strong adhesive strength, extra strong durability as well as electromagnetic detectability.
What types of finger joint plasters are available from WERO and for which areas of work are they suitable?
There are 6 different types of finger joint plasters in the WERO range:
Finger joint plasters Weroplast® PowerDetect: They are electromagnetically detectable, have an aluminium strip on the wound pad, are characterised by extra strong adhesive strength, the textile fabric is blue, longitudinally and transversely elastic, very adaptable, air-permeable and robust. The wound dressing does not stick to the wound. The finger plasters are suitable for work in production and technical areas.
Finger joint plasters Weroplast® AquaFlex: The waterproof and oil-resistant solution that moulds to the finger in a highly elastic manner, is also hypoallergenic and breathable and does not stick to the wound. The finger plasters are suitable for all areas that deal with moisture, such as the kitchen or swimming pool.

Suitable for allergy sufferers and for technical areas where there is a risk of moisture.
Finger joint plasters Weroplast® MasterTex: This robust and adaptable plaster has an air-permeable textile fabric that is longitudinally and transversely elastic. This finger plaster also does not stick to the wound.
WERO FingerFriend tubular bandage for rolling: The blue finger joint bandage offers protection and quick securing of wound dressings on the finger. The roll principle means it can be applied in seconds, while the elasticated cotton ensures a perfect fit.
