Sensitive plasters - ideal for sensitive skin
Although both overlays and adhesives in wound plasters have been continuously improved for years, plasters cause redness or irritation in some people. Even allergic reactions sometimes occur. Those affected are often unaware that they are sensitive to common plasters. We therefore offer special sensitive plasters for sensitive or stressed skin.

What are sensitive plasters?
Sensitive plasters are also known as hypoallergenic plasters or skin-friendly plasters. Their basic feature is that the ingredients used in the backing material, adhesive and wound dressing can prevent skin irritation in most cases. In most models, the backing material is made of non-woven viscose and the adhesives are made of acrylate - which is not only kind to the skin, but also ensures good adhesion. In addition to being well tolerated by the skin, our sensitive plasters are also particularly breathable and elastic, which makes them comfortable to wear.
What are the differences to a conventional plaster?
The main differences between conventional and sensitive plasters lie in the materials used. While conventional plasters are also easy to use for many people, the use of sensitive plasters can be particularly useful for children or the elderly. This is because the skin in these age groups is often thinner and therefore more sensitive. However, the use of skin-friendly plasters is also recommended for skin that is already stressed and extremely sensitive. There are no disadvantages compared to conventional plasters, e.g. in terms of adhesive strength.
