The Slishman Traction Splint (STS) enables the extension/stretching of a fracture from the hip onwards. Easy to adapt to the patient and can be used in confined spaces. Does not protrude beyond the foot, making it suitable for ambulances, basket stretchers and spineboards. No impairment of the visualisation of fractures by X-ray.
