What are the differences between DIN 13169 and DIN 13164 or DIN 13157?

In contrast to DIN 13157 cases, first aid kits in accordance with DIN 13169 contain twice the amount of first aid material. The contents of the motor vehicle first aid kit in accordance with DIN 13164 include additional components such as a fingertip bandage or quick wound dressing, additional plaster strips or an eye compress.

How many first aid kits and what contents are required in my company?

The ASR stipulates how companies (e.g. processing plants or trading companies) and construction sites must be equipped with company first aid kits/first aid material depending on the type of activity and number of employees. In principle, one first aid kit in accordance with DIN 13157 is sufficient for a workforce of up to 50 people. If there are between 50 and 300 employees, a first aid kit in accordance with DIN 13169 (or 2 DIN 13157 cases) should be available .
