WERO is a member of the Diversity Charter

WERO has been an official member of the Diversity Charter since February 2023. By signing this voluntary commitment, WERO is one of over 4,900 companies that are committed to respectful and unprejudiced coexistence.

Living diversity - creating social sustainability

Regardless of this day, WERO has been committed to an organisational culture of diversity since the company was founded: Currently, around 240 employees from 11 nations share the common goal of providing the best possible service to WERO's customers.

In terms of social sustainability at WERO, the management culture and working atmosphere are based on openness, respect and mutual support between all company employees - regardless of gender, nationality, ethnic and social background, religion, disability, age, sexual orientation and identity. The focus is explicitly on long-term cooperation with employees - and therefore also on treating older people with respect and consideration. This aspiration gives rise to new social and innovative approaches.

A professional home for everyone

Whether with or without a disability - all people should be given the opportunity to find a professional home at WERO. In dialogue and together with the representative body for the severely disabled, solutions for an appreciative working environment are created time and again.

WERO also works with EVIM (Evangelischer Verein für Innere Mission) in Wiesbaden: A group of five mentally impaired people work hand in hand with the production team. In this way, WERO gives people with disabilities the opportunity to work in a company that goes beyond the work in the workshops for the disabled belonging to EVIM.
