How to successfully clean your WERO dispenser system

Do you have a WERO dispenser system and would like to clean it in the near future? Although the systems themselves are maintenance-free, depending on the product used and the individual intensity of use, the dispenser system may become dirty or clogged after some time. The cleaning intervals cannot be specified across the board. We recommend cleaning at the latest when the system is already soiled on the outside or no more soap is coming out.

Is your dispenser system due for cleaning in the near future? In the following article, including a diagram, we provide you with valuable tips on how cleaning is guaranteed to succeed!

Clean & hygienic WERO dispenser system in just a few steps

  1. Firstly, put on disposable gloves and completely dismantle the dispenser system.
  2. Wipe the pump riser tube with a disposable paper towel to remove any potential product residue.
  3. You should then clean the pump thoroughly under hot running water. Particular attention should be paid to the outlet and the thread. After cleaning, the dosing pump should be dried.
  4. In the next step, the dispenser housing should also be cleaned to remove any dirt. This can also be done under hot running water.
Tip: For particularly stubborn soiling, we also recommend using a washing-up brush.
  5. After cleaning all components, they should be thoroughly dried. The dispenser housing, rear panel and dosing pump should then be disinfected. We recommend our Aktivin® PuraBakt wipes for this purpose.
  6. Now reassemble the dispenser system.
  7. After reassembly, first insert a bottle with an alcohol-based disinfectant solution. We recommend our hand sanitiser Aktivin ® BaktoKill.
  8. Pump the disinfectant solution through the dispenser 20 times so that the pump and spout are also sufficiently disinfected. Then leave the solution to work for another 5 minutes.
  9. Finally, the disinfectant solution can be replaced with a container of your choice. We also recommend pumping the product into a measuring cup a few times to fill the pump and spout with the product.
