Humanitarian Aid Day
With donations of hygiene articles such as disinfectants, bandages and protective gloves - most recently to the German-Ukrainian association TIU e.V. - WERO would like to support the valuable work of the helpers by delivering important relief supplies and thank everyone (not just today) for their tireless efforts.
Why 19 August? This date was chosen to commemorate the attack on 19 August 2003 in Baghdad, in which 22 people lost their lives at the UN headquarters.
