The Hyfin® Chest Seal Twin Pack training version was developed to enable realistic, cost-effective and gentle training

.Chest Seals are transparent, yellow-coated occlusive dressings for the treatment of penetrating chest injuries. They are used to seal an injured chest wall and are available with or without a valve. The valves allow air to escape from the chest during exhalation, but at the same time prevent air from entering during inhalation. Chest seals are quick and easy to apply. Thanks to their gel coating, they adhere very well, even to moist or hairy skin.

HyFin® Chest Seals are square and folded in the centre. The version with valves (twin pack for treating entry and exit wounds) has three ventilation channels that lead from the centre outwards to the edge.

shape and arrangement of the ventilation channels make the HyFin® Chest Seal very reliable, even if individual channels become blocked by blood

, for example.15.25 x 15.25 cm and the improved, self-adhesive gel coating, HyFin® chest plasters provide an excellent seal (except HyFin® Trainer: weaker adhesive formula to avoid gel residue). The transparent design allows direct placement over the wound and conforms easily to the surface. The large red tab assists in removing the protective film and applying the HyFin® Thorax plaster. It also serves as an aid to allow air to escape from the wound if necessary
