ZOLL AED 3® - The intelligent AED with real-time feedback and RapidShock™ analysis
The completely newly developed ZOLL AED 3® builds on the many years of experience of the ZOLL AED Plus®. The proven feedback function Real CPR Help® has been further developed in the ZOLL AED 3®. In addition to the usual voice instructions "Push harder" or "Good chest compressions", the ZOLL AED 3® has a large colour touchscreen display with pictograms, step-by-step instructions for resuscitation, a remaining time countdown for each CPR cycle and a
colour-coded bar display that shows the frequency and pressure depth of the compressions performed. The ZOLL AED 3® offers the industry's fastest cardiac rhythm analysis time with RapidShock™ analysis. This minimises life-threatening pauses and improves the chances of successful resuscitation. The ZOLL AED 3® has an integrated rescue mode for children, which is activated using the child button. The electrode of the ZOLL AED 3® does not need to be changed for this, but can be used to treat both adults and children. The battery and the CPR Uni-padz® electrode of the ZOLL AED 3® have a shelf life of 5 years.
The ZOLL AED 3® fulfils all the requirements for dispensing with a safety check (STK). Whether or not an STC is required in a specific case depends on the type of intended
use. We will be happy to clarify this with you personally on site. What you should also know: Despite the ease of use of the devices, your first aiders must be instructed in the use of an AED in accordance with DGUV Information 204-010 and should have a personal contact person who is always available to provide help and advice in case of doubt. After all, what use is a technically sophisticated device if potential lay users do not feel confident using it in an emergency?
