Werolin® wound cleansing spray, 75 ml
Prevents infections, cleans the wound painlessly and reduces bleeding and swelling. Applied immediately after the injury, the alcohol-free spray forms the basis for an optimal wound healing process.Wound cleansing - how to support the self-healing processThe right wound cleansing spray is an effective remedy for the initial treatment of abrasions and cuts as well as first and second degree burns. When used correctly, it creates the basis for a fast and complication-free wound healing process and should therefore not be missing from the first aid kit of your company or organisation. Why is a wound cleansing spray important? In the event of skin damage such as abrasions, cuts and burns, dirt and germs get into the wound, which in turn can cause infections. To prevent this, the wound should be cleaned during initial treatment. A wound cleansing spray in combination with a suitable plaster, compress or bandage helps to optimise wound healing. If the tissue heals quickly and without problems, only a small or inconspicuous scar usually remains. Werolin® wound cleansing spray has a threefold effect: firstly, it accelerates the healing of the wound by permanently moisturising the injury when applied several times. The acidic pH value of the spray has a positive effect on the healing environment of the wound, as it prevents germs from multiplying. This significantly reduces the risk of the healing process being affected by microorganisms. Furthermore, the so-called "cell nutrition" is improved by the ingredients iron and zinc contained in Werolin® Wound Cleansing Spray. The ingredients iron and zinc stimulate cell metabolism so that harmful substances are removed from the wound more quickly. Swelling and bleeding are reduced. Werolin® Wound Healing Spray is alcohol-free, making it possible to clean wounds without pain. Another advantage: Our wound cleansing spray is not a medicine and can therefore be used by any first aider without hesitation.Cleaning wounds during initial treatmentIf the skin is injured, it should first be cleaned. To remove dirt and germs, first aiders can use clear water or, ideally, an isotonic saline solution This is known as "mechanical cleansing" and is used to rinse coarse foreign bodies such as dirt and dust particles and detached tissue particles from the wound.Apply wound cleansing sprayFor small injuries of up to three centimetres, three to four strokes are sufficient; for larger wounds, apply at least six to eight strokes and repeat if necessary.Apply plastersThe next step is to protect the wound with a suitable dressing. Plasters, bandages or gauze, fleece or absorbent compresses allow a moist wound environment. This is particularly important as wounds heal faster in a moderately moist environment than in the air. This is mainly due to the fact that the body has little opportunity to support healing with its own substances in a dry wound. The transport medium water is missing and the healing process is slower. The wound can subsequently be kept moisturised with Werolin® wound healing spray and the dressing or plaster renewed.Successful wound healingIf there is no reddish to purple discolouration, the scab will form quickly after a few days. Never remove the scab by force. You are likely to tear young, healthy tissue and thus delay wound healing.Complications due to inadequate wound careOptimal initial treatment of the wound should prevent infection and support the healing of the skin. However, if pathogens are able to spread, localised inflammation occurs in the wound area. Although a scab may form, pus may develop underneath it. Over time, the wound deepens. If you delay treatment for too long, you risk visible changes to the skin in the long term, such as deep scars.

Werozell® compress, sterile - 1 pc
Quantity content: 1 pc
Whether for haemostasis or wound covering: Werozell® dressings are ideal for quick wound care - whether on the move or at home. Correct wound care with Werozell® sterile dressings Werozell® dressings are sterile and coated non-woven dressings for the care of open wounds and injuries. Thanks to the production of non-woven fabric and the special coating, it is effectively ensured that the wound does not stick together. This makes the compresses particularly helpful in wound healing and ensures painless dressing changes without straining the tissue. Easy application of the sterile compress With a surface area of 10x10 cm, the wound dressings are also useful for larger woundsor injuries. After the wound has been disinfected, the compress is applied and fixed in place with a plaster or bandage. Sterile compresses for rapid wound healing These Werozell® compresses are sterile and individually sealed wound compresses. They are therefore particularly recommended for open wounds, as they prevent germs from entering the wound . Nevertheless, correct and hygienic application must be guaranteed at all times.

Elastic fixation bandage DIN 61634 - 6 cm, 1 pc
Article width: 6 cm | Quantity content: 1 pc
Elastic fixation bandage The DIN 61634 fixation bandage is specially designed for use in standardised first aid kits or first aid kits. It offers excellent support, extremely high elasticity and is available in four sizes. The elastic fixation bandage is available in 4 cm, 6 cm, 8 cm and 10 cm widths, each with a length of 4 metres. For all types of fixation bandages Fixation bandages are used to hold compresses and other wound dressings precisely on the wound and prevent them from slipping. In addition, they can also be used to stabilise injured body parts in the event of broken bones and blunt injuries or to fix splints in place in an emergency. Here, however, we recommend an ideal bandage. The quality of the bandage is crucial Fixation bandages must be of a certain quality to ensure durable bandages and a secure hold. Our DIN 61634 elastic fixation bandage is characterised by woven edges, width stability and a soft, flexible fabric. This makes it possible to apply perfectly adapted bandages to conical body parts and joints that follow every movement without slipping or constricting. Thanks to the weaving technique, our elasticated fixation bandage also has a fine, smooth surface and is permeable to air, making it comfortable to wear.

WERO dressing cloth DIN 13152, sterile - 60 cm
Article width: 60 cm
WERO dressing cloth DIN 13152 - the propertiesn }}The special feature of the WERO dressing cloth in accordance with DIN 13152 is its special double-sided coating. It prevents sticking to the wound just as reliably as conventional aluminium-coated wound dressings - but the packaging volume is smaller than that of aluminium dressing cloths. The non-woven fabric is also pleasantly light and permeable to secretions and air despite the coating. This makes the dressing cloth very suitable for the initial treatment of burns.n }}Applying a dressing clothn }}Sterile dressing cloths are an indispensable standard in first aid kits. This dressing material can also be used to cover larger wounds - for example on the abdomen or legs - to prevent bacteria from spreading. This means that the wound is protected from further contamination. The peel pack of the sterile dressing cloth can be opened quickly and easily. The dressing cloth is then simply unfolded and placed loosely over the wound or the injured body part is wrapped in the dressing cloth. The sterile wound dressing allows for clean and pressure-free wound care. Like the smaller compresses, a dressing cloth does not have its own fixation. If necessary, it is secured with adhesive plasters, a bandage or a triangular cloth.

WERO eye wash bottle model P 7 buffered solution, sterile - standard
Variant: Standard
For immediate rinsing of the eye in the event of chemical contamination ("pocket bottle") Eye injuries in the workplace Eye injuries happen in all areas of work and every company should be prepared to be confronted with an eye accident in the workplace. After all, if an employee injures their eye, this can result in serious damage or loss of sight. This applies in particular to workplaces where cleaning agents, hydraulic oils, solvents, acids, alkalis or other aggressive liquids or substances are used. There is also always a risk of eye injuries in work areas where foreign bodies such as swarf, dust or dirt particles are produced. Rapid and copious rinsing dilutes the contaminants and flushes them out. Quick access to an eyewash bottle should therefore be available. Because: In the event of eye injuries, just a few seconds can decide whether vision is impaired or even lost! Caution! In the case of splinter injuries, the eye should not be rinsed but immobilised with a suitable dressing. The injured person should consult an ophthalmologist as soon as possible.
