Werolin® Wound cleansing spray, 75 ml
Prevents infections, cleans the wound painlessly and reduces bleeding and swelling. Applied immediately after the injury, the alcohol-free spray forms the basis for an optimal wound healing process.
Wound cleansing - how to support the self-healing process
The right wound cleansing spray is an effective remedy for the initial treatment of abrasions and cuts as well as first and second degree burns. When used correctly, it creates the basis for a fast and complication-free wound healing process and should therefore not be missing from the first aid kit of your company or organisation.
Why is a wound cleansing spray important?
In the event of skin damage such as abrasions, cuts and burns, dirt and germs get into the wound, which in turn can cause infections. To prevent this, the wound should be cleaned during initial treatment. A wound cleansing spray in combination with a suitable plaster, compress or bandage helps to optimise wound healing. If the tissue heals quickly and without problems, only a small or inconspicuous scar will usually remain. Werolin® wound cleansing spray has a threefold effect: firstly, it accelerates the healing of the wound by permanently moisturising the injury when applied several times. The acidic pH value of the spray has a positive effect on the healing environment of the wound, as it prevents germs from multiplying. This significantly reduces the risk of the healing process being affected by microorganisms. Furthermore, the so-called "cell nutrition" is improved by the ingredients iron and zinc contained in the Werolin® wound cleansing spray. The ingredients iron and zinc stimulate cell metabolism so that harmful substances are removed from the wound more quickly. Swelling and bleeding are reduced. Werolin® Wound Healing Spray is alcohol-free, so wounds can be cleaned without pain. Another advantage: Our wound cleansing spray is not a medicine and can therefore be used by any first aider without hesitation.
Cleaning wounds during initial treatment
If the skin is injured, it should first be cleaned. To remove dirt and germs, first aiders can use clear water or, ideally, an isotonic saline solution This is known as "mechanical cleansing" and is used to rinse coarse foreign bodies such as dirt and dust particles and detached tissue particles from the wound.
Apply wound cleansing spray
For small injuries of up to three centimetres, three to four strokes are sufficient; for larger wounds, apply at least six to eight strokes and repeat if necessary.
Apply plasters
The next step is to protect the wound with a suitable dressing. Plasters, bandages or gauze, fleece or absorbent compresses allow a moist wound environment. This is particularly important as wounds heal faster in a moderately moist environment than in the air. This is mainly due to the fact that the body has little opportunity to support healing with its own substances in a dry wound. The transport medium water is missing and the healing process is slower. The wound can subsequently be kept moisturised with Werolin® wound healing spray and the dressing or plaster renewed.
Successful wound healing
If there is no reddish to purple discolouration, the scab will form quickly after a few days. Never remove the scab by force. You are likely to tear young, healthy tissue and thus delay wound healing.
Complications due to inadequate wound care
Optimal initial treatment of the wound should prevent infection and support the healing of the skin. However, if pathogens are able to spread, localised inflammation occurs in the wound area. Although a scab may form, pus may develop underneath it. Over time, the wound deepens. If you delay treatment for too long, you risk visible changes to the skin in the long term, such as deep scars.

How do I apply WERO wound and healing ointment correctly?
The correct application of a wound and healing ointment is quick and easy:
Ideally, wear infection protection glovesIf necessary, clean the contaminated wound with our Werolin® wound cleansing spray . This reduces the risk of infection.Apply the ointment about 2 mm thick to the injured skin and slightly beyond the edges of the wound. The tube opening should not come into contact with the woundDue to the high water content, the ointment can be massaged into the skin very easily and without great pressureIf necessary, the wound can also be protected with a dressing or plaster after applying the ointmentCan the wound and healing ointment also be applied to open wounds?
Yes, the wound and healing ointment can also be applied to an open wound, as it supports the healing of smaller superficial wounds, relieves pain and reduces swelling. How long does the wound and healing ointment keep after opening? Once the tube has been opened, the ointment should be used within 3 months. The cream should not be used after the expiry date, as the effect, consistency and colour may have changed.WERO Wound and Healing Ointment is not a medicinal productWERO Wound and Healing Ointment does not contain any pharmacologically active substances. The wound healing and wound care effect is achieved by optimising the wound environment. The ointment is therefore not a medicinal product, can be purchased without a prescription outside the pharmacy and can be used without hesitation in occupational first aid.

Werozell® Compress, sterile - 1 pc
Whether for haemostasis or wound covering: Werozell® compresses are ideal for quick wound care - whether at home or on the move.
Correct wound care with Werozell sterile compresses®
Werozell® compresses are sterile and coated non-woven compresses
for the treatment of open wounds and injuries. Thanks to the non-woven
manufacturing process and the special coating, it is effectively ensured
that the wound does not stick together. This makes the compresses particularly
helpful for wound healing and ensures painless dressing changes without
straining the tissue.
Simple application of the sterile compress
With a surface area of 10x10 cm, the wound dressings are also useful for larger
wounds or injuries. After the wound
has been disinfected, the compress is applied and secured with a plaster
or bandage.
Sterile compresses for rapid wound healing
These Werozell® compresses are sterile and
individually sealed wound compresses. They are therefore particularly recommended for
open wounds, as this prevents germs from entering the wound
. Nevertheless, correct and hygienic
application must be guaranteed at all times.

WERO dressing cloth DIN 13152, sterile - 60 cm
WERO dressing cloth DIN 13152 - the propertiesn }}The special feature of the WERO dressing cloth in accordance with DIN 13152 is its special double-sided coating. It prevents sticking to the wound just as reliably as conventional aluminium-coated wound dressings - but the packaging volume is smaller than that of aluminium dressing cloths. The non-woven fabric is also pleasantly light and permeable to secretions and air despite the coating. This makes the dressing cloth very suitable for the initial treatment of burns.n }}Applying a dressing clothn }}Sterile dressing cloths are an indispensable standard in first aid kits. This dressing material can also be used to cover larger wounds - for example on the abdomen or legs - to prevent bacteria from spreading. This means that the wound is protected from further contamination. The peel pack of the sterile dressing cloth can be opened quickly and easily. The dressing cloth is then simply unfolded and placed loosely over the wound or the injured body part is wrapped in the dressing cloth. The sterile wound dressing allows for clean and pressure-free wound care. Like the smaller compresses, a dressing cloth does not have its own fixation. If necessary, it is secured with adhesive plasters, a bandage or a triangular cloth.

WERO rescue blanket
The WERO rescue blanket is an indispensable aid in any emergency situation, whether for accidents, outdoor adventures or in emergency medicine. It consists of a film coated on both sides with a gold and a silver side, which protects against both extreme cold and excessive heat. This lightweight and flexible blanket is a standard item in any first aid kit or first aid kit and provides reliable protection from the elements at critical moments.
What is a rescue blanket and how does it work?
A rescue blanket, also known as an emergency blanket, is an indispensable first aid tool that protects the body from external influences such as cold or heat in extreme situations. The rescue blanket is made of a thin, metal-coated plastic material and provides effective thermal insulation. It works by reflecting body heat and thus minimising heat loss to the environment. This is particularly important to prevent hypothermia in the event of an accident or after severe blood loss, when the body is particularly susceptible to a drop in temperature.
As well as protecting against the cold, the rescue blanket can also be used to protect the body from overheating by reflecting the sun's rays and thus reducing the effect of heat. Its ease of use and versatility make it an indispensable aid in emergency situations, whether in the medical field, during outdoor activities or in everyday use.The rescue blanket can be used in first aid as well as in various other scenarios such as natural disasters, hiking or camping. Its compact size and light weight make it a practical and indispensable part of any emergency kit.Protection from the cold: golden side facing outwardsThe golden side of the rescue blanket protects the body from the cold. When this side is facing outwards, the body heat is reflected and returned to the body so that a large proportion of the heat is released into the environment. This is particularly important in situations where there is a risk of hypothermia, e.g. after an accident outdoors or in a cold environment. By reflecting your own body heat, the rescue blanket can help to stabilise your body temperature and prevent life-threatening hypothermia.Protection from heat: silver side facing outwardsThe silver side of the rescue blanket is ideal for protecting the body from extreme heat and strong sunlight. When this side is facing outwards, it reflects the sun's rays and thus reduces the direct heat effect on the body. This helps to prevent overheating by reducing the heat input from outside. This use of the rescue blanket is particularly useful in hot climates or in direct sunlight to keep the body cool and prevent heat stress.Advantages of the WERO rescue blanketThe WERO rescue blanket offers comprehensive protection against extreme weather conditions, be it rain, wind, heat or cold. Thanks to its special design, it reflects up to 90% of body heat and is therefore an effective protection against the cold, minimising the risk of hypothermia. At the same time, it protects against overheating by reflecting strong sun rays. Thanks to its lightweight and flexible construction, it is easy to transport and simple to use, whether for emergencies at work, road accidents or outdoor activities such as skiing, mountaineering or sailing. With a size of 160 x 210 cm, the rescue blanket offers sufficient surface area to completely cover the body and provide optimum protection. When is a rescue blanket used?Rescue blankets are used in a variety of situations where the body needs to be protected from extreme weather conditions or temperatures. Common areas of use are:First aid in accidents: In the event of road accidents or other emergencies involving injured people or people in shock, the rescue blanket is used to maintain body heat and prevent hypothermia. It is placed over the injured person to minimise heat loss, which is particularly important in cold environments.Hiking and outdoor activities: Hikers and outdoor enthusiasts often carry a rescue blanket to protect themselves in the event of sudden weather changes or accidents. It can be used in an emergency to protect you from the cold or rain if you are in remote areas and help is not immediately available.Emergency medicine and rescue services: Rescue services and emergency doctors use rescue blankets to protect patients during transport. This is particularly important to prevent the patient's condition from deteriorating further due to external influences such as cold or heat.Natural disasters: During disasters such as earthquakes, floods or storms, rescue blankets are often distributed to protect survivors from the elements, especially if they are homeless or cut off from their shelters.Sporting events: At marathons or other sporting events, runners are often given rescue blankets after crossing the finish line to prevent rapid heat loss after physical exertion, especially in cool weather.

What is a triangular sling (arm sling) used for?
The triangular sling (arm sling) DIN 13168-D was specially developed for the reliable stabilisation of injuries in the arm and hand area. Whether in everyday life, during sport or in an emergency - this sling provides immediate help and relieves pain by effectively immobilising the affected limb. The cosy non-woven fabric quality ensures a comfortable feel, so that the sling can also be worn comfortably over a longer period of time. Extended application possibilities of the triangular sling (arm sling) DIN 13168-D
The triangular sling in accordance with DIN 13168-D is not only an indispensable aid for immobilising arm and hand injuries, but is also extremely versatile. Here are some extended application possibilities:
Immobilisation for shoulder injuries: The triangular sling can be used for stable immobilisation of the arm in the event of shoulder injuries. It helps to immobilise the shoulder, thereby relieving pain and preventing further damage.Support for rib fractures: In the case of rib injuries, the triangular sheet can be used as a pressure bandage to support the chest wall and relieve pain. Its flexible application makes it easy to adjust and provides the necessary stability.Improvised sling or stretcher: In emergency situations where a stretcher is not available, the triangular sling can be used as an improvised sling to support an injured person and facilitate transport.Fixation of bandages: The triangular sling is ideal for securing large-area dressings, particularly on parts of the body where normal dressings are difficult to apply, such as the head or thigh. This versatility makes the triangular bandage an indispensable part of any first aid kit, both for professional and private use.How do you apply a triangular sling correctly? The correct application of a triangular sling is important for immobilising arm and hand injuries. Here is a step-by-step guide.Preparing the sling: Fully spread out the triangular sling. It should lie flat and crease-free on a clean surface.Positioning the arm: Ask the injured person to hold the affected arm at a right angle in front of the body. The hand should be slightly above the elbow. Place the longest side of the triangular sheet under the arm so that the tip of the sheet (opposite the long side) is pointing towards the elbow. Adjusting the drape: Pull the upper corner of the drape on the uninjured side over the shoulder and place it behind the neck. This corner is then pulled forwards over the injured shoulder.Securing the sling: The lower corner of the triangular sling is pulled upwards and placed over the injured shoulder. This corner should then meet with the corner already placed over the neck.Tie the knot: Tie the two ends of the scarf, which now meet over the shoulder, firmly together. The knot should be tight, but not so tight that the blood circulation is impeded.Fine adjustment: The end of the sling that protrudes below the elbow can be folded back and secured to make the bandage more secure. These steps will keep the arm in a stable position, relieving pain and minimising the risk of further injury until professional medical help is available.

Correct wound care with Werozell sterile compresses®
Werozell® compresses are sterile and coated non-woven compresses

straining the tissue.

wounds or injuries. After the wound
has been disinfected, the compress is applied and secured with a plaster
or bandage.

These Werozell® compresses are sterile and
individually sealed wound compresses. They are therefore particularly recommended for
open wounds, as they prevent germs from entering the wound
. Nevertheless, correct and hygienic

Werofix® Quick dressing, sterile
Quick plaster dressing for special requirements
With our Werofix® quick dressing, wounds can be treated quickly and easily just like with a plaster. However, at 4 x 6 cm, the wound pad is also significantly larger than with normal plasters. This means that even slightly larger wounds can be dressed securely. The special coating prevents it from sticking to the wound. The dressing can be removed very gently if the wound is treated by a paramedic or doctor at a later date.
Werofix® quick dressing with an intelligent concept
The wound dressing is attached to one end of a fixation bandage that can be stretched up to 30 cm, which makes wound care easy: simply apply the wound dressing, fold over the short end and wrap the long end quickly and neatly several times over the covered wound. The bandage is then secured directly with the firmly attached adhesive plaster strip and the dressing is ready. You can even apply a non-slip finger bandage without help.
