Reliably improves the healing of the skin and is also suitable for use on the mouth and mucous membrane area and for children. WERO wound and healing ointment is not a medicinal product. It may therefore be used by any first aider and kept in every first aid kit.WERO wound and healing ointment is not a medicinal productWERO Wound and Healing Ointment does not contain any pharmacologically active substances. The wound-healing and wound-care effect is achieved by optimising the wound environment. This means that the ointment is not a medicinal product and can be used without hesitation in occupational first aid.The new WERO wound and healing ointment improves healing after injuries such as abrasions, scratches or cuts. The formation of new tissue is supported and scarring is reduced. It also accelerates the reduction of bruising and oedema. Swelling decreases, reducing irritation and pain. Our WERO wound and healing ointment can therefore also provide significant relief from blunt trauma such as bruises and contusions. It also contains no irritating ingredients, which is why it can be used safely on the mouth and mucous membranes. The ointment is therefore also suitable for treating wounds in children.IMPORTANT NOTEWash your hands thoroughly before applying the wound and healing ointment - ideally wear infection protection gloves - and then clean any contaminated wound with our Werolin ® wound cleansing spray This reduces the risk of infection. Application of the WERO wound and healing ointmentWERO Wound and Healing Ointment is applied to the injured skin area in a thickness of about 2 mm and slightly beyond the edges of the wound (avoid contact between the opening of the tube and the wound). Thanks to the high water content, the ointment can be easily massaged in without painful pressure. Repeat this application several times within the first three days. The ointment can also be used in conjunction with a bandage or plaster . This provides the injured skin with additional protection against contamination or irritation caused by external influences.
Prevents infections, cleans the wound painlessly and reduces bleeding and swelling. Applied immediately after the injury, the alcohol-free spray forms the basis for an optimal wound healing process.Wound cleansing - how to support the self-healing processThe right wound cleansing spray is an effective remedy for the initial treatment of abrasions and cuts as well as first and second degree burns. When used correctly, it creates the basis for a fast and complication-free wound healing process and should therefore not be missing from the first aid kit of your company or organisation. Why is a wound cleansing spray important? In the event of skin damage such as abrasions, cuts and burns, dirt and germs get into the wound, which in turn can cause infections. To prevent this, the wound should be cleaned during initial treatment. A wound cleansing spray in combination with a suitable plaster, compress or bandage helps to optimise wound healing. If the tissue heals quickly and without problems, only a small or inconspicuous scar usually remains. Werolin® wound cleansing spray has a threefold effect: firstly, it accelerates the healing of the wound by permanently moisturising the injury when applied several times. The acidic pH value of the spray has a positive effect on the healing environment of the wound, as it prevents germs from multiplying. This significantly reduces the risk of the healing process being affected by microorganisms. Furthermore, the so-called "cell nutrition" is improved by the ingredients iron and zinc contained in Werolin® Wound Cleansing Spray. The ingredients iron and zinc stimulate cell metabolism so that harmful substances are removed from the wound more quickly. Swelling and bleeding are reduced. Werolin® Wound Healing Spray is alcohol-free, making it possible to clean wounds without pain. Another advantage: Our wound cleansing spray is not a medicine and can therefore be used by any first aider without hesitation.Cleaning wounds during initial treatmentIf the skin is injured, it should first be cleaned. To remove dirt and germs, first aiders can use clear water or, ideally, an isotonic saline solution This is known as "mechanical cleansing" and is used to rinse coarse foreign bodies such as dirt and dust particles and detached tissue particles from the wound.Apply wound cleansing sprayFor small injuries of up to three centimetres, three to four strokes are sufficient; for larger wounds, apply at least six to eight strokes and repeat if necessary.Apply plastersThe next step is to protect the wound with a suitable dressing. Plasters, bandages or gauze, fleece or absorbent compresses allow a moist wound environment. This is particularly important as wounds heal faster in a moderately moist environment than in the air. This is mainly due to the fact that the body has little opportunity to support healing with its own substances in a dry wound. The transport medium water is missing and the healing process is slower. The wound can subsequently be kept moisturised with Werolin® wound healing spray and the dressing or plaster renewed.Successful wound healingIf there is no reddish to purple discolouration, the scab will form quickly after a few days. Never remove the scab by force. You are likely to tear young, healthy tissue and thus delay wound healing.Complications due to inadequate wound careOptimal initial treatment of the wound should prevent infection and support the healing of the skin. However, if pathogens are able to spread, localised inflammation occurs in the wound area. Although a scab may form, pus may develop underneath it. Over time, the wound deepens. If you delay treatment for too long, you risk visible changes to the skin in the long term, such as deep scars.
With integrated FFP3 filter for a high level of infection protection.

For quick help with bruises, sprains and haematomas - just squeeze, shake and you're done!n }}Cooling compresses not only help with typical sports injuries such as bruises or strains, but also with insect bites, haematomas, minor burns and sprains. Cooling compresses measuring 14 cm x 18 cm and 14 cm x 24 cm can also be used to refill first aid kits and first aid boxes in accordance with DIN 13157 and DIN 13169.n }}n }}Use of the WERO CoolPack instant cold compressn }}To activate the instant cold compress, squeeze the centre of the bag. Then shake the bag a few times to speed up the chemical reaction. The compress now reaches its cooling effect within a few seconds and can therefore be used to cool the injury almost immediately after activation. Werotex® self-adhesive, sterile plaster bandageOur clever plaster bandage that combines the advantages of a sterile, highly absorbent wound dressing with an elastic fixation bandage and the adhesive strength of a plaster to create a unique quick dressing. This means that even large-area injuries on problematic areas of the body, such as the curved palm of the hand, can be treated quickly and cleanly. The particularly high-quality wound dressing protects and cushions the wound without sticking to it.Coated with an ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer adhesive specially developed for medical applications, the plaster bandage adheres excellently to the skin and guarantees absolutely secure fixation of the wound dressing. Thanks to the special width and length of the bandage, the wound is optimally covered and protected from moisture and contamination.
Quick plaster dressing for special requirements
With our Werofix® quick dressing, wounds can be treated quickly and easily just like with a plaster. However, the wound dressing is much more absorbent and, at 4x6cm, also significantly larger than normal plasters. This means that even slightly larger wounds can be dressed securely. The special coating prevents the dressing from sticking to the wound. The dressing can be removed very gently if the wound is to be treated by a paramedic or doctor at a later date.
Werofix® quick dressing with an intelligent concept
The wound dressing is attached to one end of a fixation bandage that can be stretched up to 30cm, which makes wound care easy: simply apply the wound dressing, fold over the short end and wrap the long end quickly and neatly several times over the covered wound. The bandage is then secured directly with the firmly attached adhesive plaster strip and the dressing is ready. You can even apply a highly absorbent, non-slip finger bandage without help.
